Au cours des derniers mois deux têtes on massivement remué Moon Harbour, le français Seuil et Martinez de Copenhague. Et pour continuer dans cet élan, après leur récent set aux côtés de Matthias Tanzmann à la Moon Harbour flights à la Distillery basée à Leipzig, Tanzmann les réinvita dans son studio pour ce qui est destiné à être une intéressante série de tracks.
Et les fruits de ces collaborations sont maintenant là pour vous comme deux tracks très spéciaux sur le maxi « Moon Harbour Joints Vol.1″, chaque morceau combine chaque style très personnel mais en même temps nous offre plus que la simple somme des trois styles réunis.
In the last few months two faces have caused a massive stir at Moon Harbour HQ, the frenchman Seuil and Martinez from Copenhagen. And to take that momentum a step further, after their recent sets alongside Matthias Tanzmann at the monthly Moon Harbour Flights at the Distillery in Leipzig, Tanzmann invited them back to his nearby studio for what ended up being a very fruitful couple of recording sessions.
And the fruits of these collaborations are here for you all as two very special tracks on the split EP „Moon Harbour Joints Vol. 1“, each track combining the artists’ unique personal styles while at the same time giving us more than the sum of the parts.
Dernière sortie en date du label de Joachim Spieth, cet EP contient deux très bons morceaux réalisés par deux artistes talentueux : l’australien Little Fritter et le roumain Dirty Culture. Ayant déjà signé sur Affin, Little Fritter revient avec un tube housy dont le groove vous entraînera incontestablement. Après avoir signé sur Einmaleins et pas mal d’autres labels, Dirty Culture, fait sa première apparition sur Affin avec un morceau assez deep qui nous donne envie de savourer un mojito les pieds dans l’eau.
Last release on Joachim Spieth’s label, this EP contains two great tracks realized by two talented artists, Australian Little Fritter and the Rumanian Dirty Culture. Having already signed on Affin, Little Fritter returns with a housy hit, its groove will lead you unmistakably to dance. After Having signed on Einmaleins and quite a lot of other labels, Dirty Culture, appears for the first time on Affin with a deep track that feels like to enjoy a mojito feet in the water.
Après maintes sorties sur le label d’Ellen Allien, Bpitch control, avec entre autres le Copycat EP qui nous aura tous fait vibrer et un remix du Deadline d’Arno Gonzalez récemment sur le label Angevin Timid Records, Tomas Andersson sort aujourd’hui son dernier EP sur le label suédois Funk Noir en prévision de son nouvel album. Ce maxi est composé de deux originaux, « Put yo ass to Work » et « Jahaja », et d’un remix par Hakan ludvingson. On retrouve bien évidemment la touche techno de Tomas pleine de bonnes vibrations avec un remix aux influences techno-minimal. Enjoy!
After many releases on Bpitch control owned by Ellen Allien with particularly the Copycat EP which made all of us burning, and a remix of Arno Gonzalez’s track Deadline recently on Angers based label Timid records, Tomas Andersson releases today his las EP on Swedish label Funk Noir in forecast of his new album. This maxi is composed of two original tracks, « Put yo ass to Work » and « Jahaja », and a remix by Hakan Ludvingson. We find obviously Tomas’ techno touch full of good vibes with a remix influenced by techno-minimal. Enjoy!
K-Jano est un producteur et remixeur techno et tech house de 30 ans. C’est le boss des labels Mare Records et Meeresfunk. Il est né à Teterow en Allemagne en 1979 et vit actuellement à Graal-Müritz. Il s’est lancé dans le monde de la musique il y a longtemps, à l’age de 16 ans. Son nouvel album, Ostwind, sur Mare Records a tous les éléments qu’il faut pour un tube estival. Le soleil, le style et la touche. Dj Misjah et Mangelt, deux très bons musiciens, ont remixé le morceau Ostwind rajoutant ainsi leur touche personnelle qui n’est pas déplaisante.
K-Jano is 30 years young and a Producer and Remixer for Techno and Tech House. He’s the owner of the Labels Mare Records and Meeresfunk. He was born in Teterow, Germany in the 1979s and is currently living in Graal-Müritz. He actually started music a long time ago at the age of 16. His new Album on Mare Records, “Ostwind” has every element, which we can expect of a summer anthem. The sun, the style and the touch. Dj Misjah and Mangelt, two great musicians, remixed the track Ostwind, adding their really pleasant personal touch.

Ayant déja a son actif une décennie d’expérience derrière les platines, Joseph Disco a vécu une transition a succès vers le studio, sortant son premier Ep sur Great Stuff Recordings en compagnie de Micky Monzza.
Il a depuis sorti sur Platform B, Glitter, Craft Music, Stil Vor Talent ou encore Muve Recordings. La sortie du duo en collaboration avec le bien connu Lützenkirchen sur Great Stuff Recordings ayant été un succès mondial, elle a pu mettre en avant le travail de Joseph Disco ainsi que lui permettre d’être playlisté par un grand nombre de dj internationaux. Son style mélange une techno claquante et deep a une electro retenue, toujours gardant cette touche de mélodie qui lui est propre et qui a lui a fait tenir son rang en clubs ainsi qu’auprès du public.
« Sophisticated » est une tranche de tech-house légère et vivante, avec la proportion idéale de funk percussif pour faire danser même en début de soirée, une nouvelle fois avec des mélodies sous-jacentes pour garder la sensation de besoin d’un peu plus de profondeur pour plus tard. Une basse modulant patiemment vibre pendant que l’on peut remarquer des samples coupés et en écho, une rythmique qui gambade mais surtout une atmosphère tremblante de précision.
“What Ya Hear is What Ya Get” s’attaque aux enceintes quant a lui avec un arrangement construit de manière tres minimaliste qui marchera aussi bien pour les afters qu’en tant que DJ tool ajoutant un peu de piment a la palette sonore d’un dj set. Il garde ainsi une approche simple et directe, une basse frappante agrémentée d’une décoction de sons et d’effets en font l’instrument idéal pour ajouter un peu de folie tribale au mélange auditif.
Not allowing dancefloors to cool off from the steam of its third release, Plattenbank strikes again with another scorching gem, calling upon the talents of Munich-based producer Joseph Disco for his second label appearance. Driven by a decade of experience behind the decks, Joseph Disco has in recent years made the successful transition to the studio, beginning with his debut 2005 release on Great Stuff Recordings under the moniker DMS with production partner Micky Monzza.
Since then, his music has appeared on Platform B, Glitter, Craft Music, Stil Vor Talent and Muve Recordings. The duo’s follow-up recording in collaboration with renowned artist Lützenkirchen on Great Stuff Recordings proved to be a worldwide success, putting Joseph Disco’s music firmly on the map and in playlists of DJs across the globe. His stylish merging of deeply pulsating techno with bounding electro while adding in a touch of melody has kept Joseph’s tunes on regular rotation in top clubs across the world, and never fails leave the crowd eager for more.
“Sophisticated” is a lively and lighthearted slice of tech-house, with the right degree of light percussive funk to pull people onto the floor in the early hours, yet with the underlying tonal peculiarity to maintain the feeling of depth needed for the later sessions. A patiently modulating bass wobbles along while echoed chirps, cut-up samples and rhythms cavort amongst the enveloping wispy atmosphere. “What Ya Hear is What Ya Get” tackles its corner of the audio spectrum with a minimally constructed arrangement which functions equally as a hypnotic work for the after-hours or a percussive DJ tool for adding a welcomed pinch of spice to the sound palette. Keeping its approach simple and straightforward, the song’s recoiling bass and concoction of sounds and effects make it the ideal instrument to add a light tribal flare to the sonic blend.

Après s’être mis en jambe en 2008 avec sa première sortie pour Mobilee « One Is Not Enough », suivie par sa deuxième sortie « Sand On The Floor », ce phénomène est de retour pour un troisième round pour la 55ème sortie de Mobilee intitulée « First Talk », une tech-house captivante autant qu’elle est sans limite. Le morceau éponyme face A est une merveille de techno bondissante, allant de l’avant sans arrêt sans pour autant se faire sentir pressé, tenant l’auditeur en haleine avec des montées en pression s’arrêtant juste avant la crise cardiaque. Combinant a merveille les synthés vintage et boucles enlacées en résonance, And.id joue avec perfection avec la dynamique et l’atmosphère.
Sur l’autre face, « Ephoria » maintiens un niveau similaire de retenue, avec rythmiques house oscillantes et mélodies sous-jacentes se transformant jusqu’à donner des vagues d’arpèges tendant vers le point ultime du morceau. « Lights On » quant a lui montre un coté plus minimal et sombre de And.id, agrémenté de fréquences basses et d’échos récurrents, ce track montre toute l’étendue des talents de cet artiste que nous vous invitons a découvrir sans attendre
And.id is renowned for his live performances in which he integrates both released and unreleased productions, loops, and live use of his trumpet into an incomparably high-energy affair.

Jacksonville à cofondé les labels britanniques Advance et Sensei, produisant des morceaux et remixs pour les deux labels ainsi qu’apparaissant sur bon nombre de compilations, notamment sur le mix Global Underground Ibiza de Sascha.
