L’année dernière, Cara Moto signait Silently, un petit bijou de Pop-House enchanté par la voix de sa camarade Autrichienne, Mimu. Lentement mais sûrement, le titre a traversé le monde, la blogosphère internationale, et la compilation Fabric de Claude Von Stroke. Clara a commencé à jouer dans des clubs de renommées internationales comme le Rex de Paris, le Panorama Bar de Berlin ou le Loft de Barcelone. Pour beaucoup, elle restera une des révélations des Trans Musicales 2008 et le rayon de soleil de la dernière édition des Nuits Sonores de Lyon en 2009. Elle ensorcelle également le Belleville de Rone au côté de Tyler Pope de Tchik Tchik Tchik, le Robotfood de Petter et signe des maxis pour Mina Records et Persona. Fraîchement arrivée à Berlin, Clara peaufine son premier album qui verra le jour début 2010 sur InFiné.

Pour vous tenir en haleine encore quelques mois, nous avons choisit de faire sonner Silently plus fort, plus énergique, plus déjanté, plus rock avec trois nouvelles relectures de Kirk Degiorgio (B12, Planet-E), Carl Johan Elger (Manual) et du tout jeune combo français Sissi Lewis.

En guise de Face B, et histoire de vous rappeler que le style Clara Moto est inimitable, l’une des ses dernières productions, Alma et ses six minutes de minimal house satinée. Cerise sur le gâteau, un edit de l’original pour une vidéo signée Red Factory et une pochette de Mimu.

On vous le promet, Clara Moto ne restera pas longtemps silencieuse.

Last year, we released Silently of Clara Moto, a jewel of pop-house enchanted by the voice of her fellow-Austrian singer, Mimu. Slowly but surely, the track traveled the world, the web even passing by Claude Von Stroke latest Fabric mixed compilation. Clara starts playing in bigger clubs such as Rex Club in Paris, Panorama in Berlin, Loft in Barcelona, Les Nuits Sonores in Lyon or Les Trans Musicales festival in Rennes. She also put a spell on Rone’s Belleville together with Tyler Pope of !!! and Petter’s Robotfood and released a couple of EPs for Mina Records and Persona. Freshly relocated in Berlin, Clara is finishing her first debut album effort, to be released early 2009 by InFiné.

To keep you patient few more months, we wanted to make Silently sound louder, faster, weirder, rocker with three remixes by Kirk Degiorgio (B12, Planet-e), Karl Johan Elger (Manual) and the rising French shoegaze band Sissi Lewis.

On the B-side, Clara’s freshest take Alma, six minutes of satin-smooth Minimal House, right there to remind anyone that Moto’s style is inimitable.

Last but not the least, the package includes an edit for a videoclip signed by Red Factory and an artwork signed by Mimu.

Promise taken, Clara Moto will not remain silently for long.

A notre grand plaisir le célèbre duo nantais, Gwen et Bertrand Dupart est de retour. Après le succès mondial de « Lolita » qui a été sélectionné parmi les 20 meilleures tracks House d’Ibiza, l’incroyable duo signe de nouveau sur Space Breaks et frappe très fort avec la « Space Odyssey » !

The artists just wanted to give a perfect blend of their key influences, mixing together inspiration from french disco band «Space» as well as Giorgio Moroder.Made for  big sound systems, we can feel the influences of different styles and years. David Keno est de retour pour le troisième élément de son tryptique de sorties sur kindish cette année, intitulé Feast. Après avoir sorti son excellent album Discoteca, et son ébouriffant Tout Le Temps en collaboration avec Jaxson, Keno est aujourd’hui a la tête d’un impressionnant et orgasmique ep. Après des débuts remarqués sur le label de Corrado Izo 1220, David Keno s’est depuis fait les crocs sur Morris Audio Citysport Edition et Frankie Rec. tout en incorporant a son son des combinaisons de rythmes divins, percussions organiques et mélodies entêtants.

« Feast » nous montre un David Keno prenant une certaine distance avec les pionners House de la cote ouest américaine, nous procurant une perspective inédite. « Bonito » ouvre avec un soupçon de swing latino et des percussions fines avant d’exploser en un rythme implacable, balancé d’une ligne de basse booty-esque à son paroxysme. L’ensemble est tempèré par une nappe de violons si mélancolique qu’elle injecte une touche émotionnelle inattendue.

Ainsi arrive « 808″, un concept un peu plus deep pour ce morceau basé sur une ligne de basse soujascente mais surpuissante dominée par des congas fracassants. La simplicité étant la clé de l’hommage à cette légendaire boite à rythme, seuls quelques simples entrées de percussions et de voix sou viennent troubler la profondeur de cette oeuvre d’art funky.

Pour finir, le titre éponyme « Feast » chevauche une ligne de basse impulsive, épaulé par des claviers effrayants créant une atmosphère lunatique si particulière. La combinaison de cet ensemble à des vocales saucissonées ainsi qu’à des samples faisant naturellement remuer la nuque et les pieds nous montre toute l’expertise et l’inventivité du style propre a David, s’adaptant à la perfection aux dancefloors de tout pays.

Ce n’est donc pas uniquement pour s’assurer un fauteuil chez Kindisch que David Keno nous propose mais bel et bien pour explorer un nouvel univers et dévoiler une de ses multiples facettes. Du beau travail de la part du jeune producteur.

David Keno is going for the trifecta with Feast, his 3rd Kindisch release of the year. Following on from his excellent label debut Discoteca, and his storming Tout Le Temps collaboration with Jaxson, Keno is back with the 3-track smorgasbord that is Feast. Starting off his career with a number of releases on Corrado Izo’s 1220 label, David Keno has since cut his teeth with Morris Audio Citysport Edition and Frankie Rec, and has honed his sound into a fresh combination of masterfully constructed beats, perfectly pitched percussive elements and infectious melodies… all the right elements for dancefloor devestation!

Feast shows David Keno taking a leaf out of the book of US westcoast house pioneers, and giving the sound a new perspective. « Bonito » opens with a hint of cheeky Latin swing and demi-percussion, before breaking into a tough jacking beat and boompty house bassline. A lone, melancholy string sample in the second half defines the track by injecting a touch of unexpected quirkiness into the mix.

Keeping the momentum going is « 808″ a slightly deeper affair based on a throbbing, undulating bassline and conga-led percussion. Simplicity is the key to this drum machine tribute, as stabs of percussion are fused together with soulful scatting vocals, for a deeply funk flavoured house workout.

Last but certainly not least, title track « Feast » rides on a pulsating, low bassline, a subtle synth tone, and a haunting keys melody that build a moody atmosphere. Expertly combining this atmosphere with the kind of jerky cut-up vocals and samples that get the shoulders bumping and the feet moving, Keno showcases true inventiveness with dancefloor appeal.

With Feast, David Keno is not only cementing his place within the Kindisch family, he’s also building his reputation as a young producer to be reckoned with!

Pour sa troisième sortie, Off Recordings a eu la bonne idée de nous présenter un pilier de la scène electronique underground de Milan, l’inimitable Luca Doobie. Tandis que sa patte Housy s’impose sur des labels tels Freerange et Safari Electronique (parmi d’autres), Le label Italien peut s’estimer heureux d’avoir pu sécurisé un véritable EP-Bombe intitulé « South America ». Composé de trois productions originales, il affiche parfaitement le talent si rare de Luca en tant que producteur et arrangeur. Qu’il soit occupé à distiller ses beats façon tribal sur le morceau « South America », des lignes de basses au paroxysme du swing telles que celle du bondissant « Backwards », ou encore des ambiances hypnotiques et intimidantes comme procure sans effort « Nepture ». La discographie de Luca l’a vu sans relache poursuivre une quète d’un son electronique unique, l’amenant à devenir sans aucun doute un réel talent à surveiller par l’avenir, jugez en par vous mêmes…

For their third release, Off Recordings is presenting an important fixture and talent of the underground electronic scene of Milan, the inimitable Luca Doobie. While his recent, groove oriented brand of house has been well documented and received on labels such as Freerange and Safari Electronique (among many others), The label can feel happy they have secured a veritable bomb of an EP, entitled « South America ». Composed of 3 original productions, it perfectly showcases Luca’s abilities as a producer and arranger, whether he is rocking the dense tribal-esque beats on the titular « South America » or utilizing driving, swinging basslines such as the one in « Backward » or even venturing into heads down, hypnotic techno territories as he so effortlessly does in « Nepture ». Luca’s discography has seen him accurately encapsulate a lifetime of pursuit and service of (electronic) music and his growth as an artist has set him out as a true talent to watch out for.
