Si Anil Chawla a confirmé faire parti des dj-producteurs les plus en vogues du moment au royaume uni en 2008, il nous est revenu gonflé à bloc en fevrier 2009 avec l’un des albums les plus attendus ‘Roadhouse’ ( en compagnie de Dale Anderson) sur le label mondialement connu Global Underground
Cette année a bel et bien été un marathon pour Anil, ayant parcouru le monde en long en large et en travers, de la Russie à l’Ukraine en passant par Ibiza bien évidemment, mais aussi par l’Égypte, l’inde, la Lituanie ou encore la Suède, sans oublier la résidence de Global Underground au mythique Ministry Of Sound de Londres.
On se souvient d’Anil Chawla comme ayant explosé à la face du monde en 2004, le voyant émerger à toute vitesse pendant ces 4 dernières années en passant par le support de la part d’artistes comme Sasha, John Digweed, Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Angello, James Zabiela et Nick Fanciulli. Ses mélodies funk profondes et sa touche acid house prenante est l’une des plus caractéristique en musique électronique.
Il a ainsi pu nous montrer l’étendue de ses talents sur des labels respectés tels que Saved, Cr2, Kill Brique, Vapour et bien évidemment Global Underground.
Ce nouvel EP sur Flow Vinyl est l’occasion pour Anil de donner le ton avec des grooves Tech House aux atmosphères club, remplis de lignes de basse a tomber par terre, de boucles de percussion ainsi que de parties de synthé du plus bel effet, l’ensemble vous attirant sans relache à remuer la nuque et les pieds. Il ne fait aucun doute qu’il rassemblera les plus grands noms derrière lui tel que nic fanciully parmi les premiers supports.
On appréciera les remixs du duo Kruse & Nurnberg sous un angle tech house hypnotique, ainsi que de Kasey Taylor & Pena, d’une humeur plus progressive.

Having exploded onto the world scene in 2004, the past four years have seen rapid growth to Anil’s already illustrious career, and with heavy support for his productions coming from Sasha, Digweed, Tong, Garnier, Cattaneo, Angello, Zabiela and Fanciulli, his deep melodic-funk and freaky-acid house sounds are amongst the most sought after in electronic music.

Now this massive ep on Flow Vinyl, where Anil’s set pace to some more clubby tech house grooves filled with mesmerizing basslines, percussive hooks and catchy synth stabs. the remixes come by no other than the hyped duo Kruse & Nurnberg, delivering an hipnotic re-interpretation of the original on a technoish/tec house tip. Very solid and dopey, and progressive dons Kasey Taylor & Pena, on a more prog tech affair.
