Automne 2007 InFiné a sorti le « Glove Affair » de Clara Moto, une délicieuse et poignante minimal house. Un an plus tard, c’est avec l’EP de « Silently », un morceau léger et duveteux accompagné d’un choeur de tueur qui révèle que Clara, avec l’aide de Mimu sur des chants, a une forte attirance pour la pop avec « Deer & Fox », point culminant de « Polyamour », le duo est de retour au top, et un nouvel hymne pop délicieusement édifiant.

Mimu a eu l’habitude de chanter beaucoup quand elle était un enfant. « Mais toujours secrètement, quand j’étais seul, étant terriblement embarrassé quand quelqu’un m’entendait accidentellement. » Elle a rencontré Clara à Graz en 2003. À ce moment, Clara faisait ses premier pas dans le djiing, tandis que Mimu était dans la performance visuelle. Donc aucune surprise de savoir que Mimu est l’auteur de toutes les illustrations incluses dans l’album « Polyamour ».

Petit à petit, le duo a commencé à jouer face à ses amis, sourtout pour le fun. « Elle était le leader d’oreille et j’étais l’âge d’oeil. » Admet Mimu. Il y a deux ans, ayant récemment eu le coeur brisé, Mimu a commencé à exprimer ses sentiments par « des chansons et des poésies, enregistrant des choeurs et des bulles de mot parlées » et apprenant comment jouer du piano, de l’accordéon, du violon ou de la guitare.

Elle a écrit les paroles de « Deer & Fox », et a commencé à l’adapter elle-même avec divers instruments mais jamais ils pourraient sonner aussi biens qu’avec Clara et ses apports de production. Avec son ressenti profond des notes, Clara Moto a jetté un sort au choeur de Mimu cristallisant ainsi leur complicité dans l’un des hit les plus rafraîchissants de 2010.
La face B exclusivement dans la version digital du single, « Hall » est parfaitement dédiée au dancefloor. Le tournoiement des clics et des cuts, des chants robotisés et des vagues célestes, sont tout ce qui donne à Clara de faire un parfait groove.

Autumn 2007. InFiné releases Clara Moto’s “Glove Affair”, a firm-handed, delicious minimal house cut. One year later, and it’s with the release of “Silently”, a light and fluffy tune featuring a killer chorus that Clara, with the help of Mimu on vocals, reveals a strong penchant for pop. With “Deer & Fox”, first highlight taken from “Polyamour”, the duo is back at its best, and a new deliciously uplifting pop-anthem.

Mimu used to sing a lot when she was a child. “But always secretly, when I was alone, being terribly embarrassed when someone would hear me accidentally.” She met Clara in Graz back in 2003. A that time, Clara was making her first step into djiing, while Mimu was into visual performances. No surprise if Mimu has been responsible for all the artworks included in the “Polyamour” album.

Little by little, the duo starts playing in front of friends, mainly for fun. “She was the ear-leader and I was the eye age.” She admits. Freshly broken-hearted two years ago, Mimu started voicing her feelings through “songs and poetries, recording choirs and spoken word bubbles” and learning how to play piano, accordion, violin or guitar.

She wrote the lyrics of “Deer & Fox”, adapted it herself already with various instrumentations but never they could sound so good as with Clara’s own production inputs. With her deeply felt organ notes Clara Moto put a spell on Mimu’s chorus crystallizing their complicity for one of the most refreshing hit of 2010.

Exclusive B-side for this digital mini-single, “Hall” goes straight for the dance-floor. Twirling clicks & cuts, robotic vocals and celestial waves, is all what it took to Clara to make a perfect stomp.

Le talentueux artiste londonien Kieran Hebben plus connu sous le nom de Four Tet nous livre son prochain album avant sa sortie annoncée le 25 janvier !
Après une quantité impressionnante de maxis, d’albums et de remixs dont nous gardons encore en mémoire les morceaux ‘She Moves She’, ‘Parks’ et ‘Everything Is Alright’ sortis sur deux de ses superbes albums que sont ‘Pause’ et ‘Rounds’, Four Tet revient donc avec un nouvel album (son dernier Everything Ecstatic datait déjà de 2005) tout aussi frissonnant que les autres !

Four Tet now returns with a new album (his last one ‘Everything Ecstatic’ having been released in 2005) as shivering as the ones before!

Primitive Form Of Comfort est le premier album du producteur nantais d’electronica Fabien Dortel.
Fasciné par le lien entre l’Homme, la Nature et la machine il nous livre ici 8 titres marqués par l’omniprésence des motifs mélodiques, emprunts d’une atmosphère teintée de sonorités vintage et de rythmiques volontiers voice-cuttées, ciselées ou percutantes, glacées ou chaleureuses.
Les titres de Primitive Form Of Comfort sont conçus comme des formes vivantes évoluant au gré des continuités et des ruptures, projetant dans le champ de l’auditeur des images futuristes comme issues d’une SF rétro revisitée.
On y reconnaitra l’influence de grands noms de l’Electronica ou de l’IDM comme Boards Of Canada, notamment dans l’obsession mélodique et l’usage des nappes, mais le musicien annonce aussi des influences comme Alva noto, Mùm, Autechre, Apparat, Kettel ou Depth affect parmi bien d’autres.

Primitive Form Of Comfort is the first album by Fabien Dortel, electronica producer from Nantes (France).
Fascinated by the relationship between Human, Nature and the machine he gives us here 8 tracks marked by the omnipresence of melodic grounds, borrowing an atmosphere tinged with vintage sounds and rhythms gladly voice-cutted, chiseled or striking, icy or warm.
The tracks of Primitive Form Of Comfort are designed as living forms evolving according to the continuities and ruptures, projecting futuristic pictures into the field to the listener as from a revisited retro SF.
We can recognize the influence of big names in Electronica or IDM as Boards Of Canada, particularly in the melody obsession and the use of groundwater, but the musician also announces influences as Alva Noto, Mum, Autechre, Apparat, Kettel or Depth Affect among many others.

 Chris Erotokritou aussi connu sous le nom de « Kemi » est né à Nicosie, Chypre, et habite en ce moment à Londres, UK, ou il finit sa licence en ingéniérie de logiciels.

Dj digital et producteur dans différents genres incluants Minimal House, Techno, Progressive et Break, il a été impliqué depuis son plus jeune age en programmation informatique ainsi qu’en guitare.

Utilisant sa passion pour la musique et son grand intérêt en technologie informatique, il a réussi à réunir ces deux passions ensemble dès l’age de 16 ans.

Il est donc actuellement en phase de production, utilisant ses qualités de DJ et son ordinateur pour produire ses propres morceaux avec un style unique, tout en restant ouvert à tout sous-genre de musique electronique, bien que les principaux restent Minimal House, Techno Progressive, Breaks, Chill-out et Electronica.

Sa première sortie d’album fut en février 2009 avec DiFFReQ Records, et a été nommée ‘rawSound’ après l’usage de sons simples uniquement. Il fut donc suffisamment doué en manipulation sonore pour créer ses samples selectionnés et produire son premier album.

Digital DJ and Producer in electronic music genres including : Minimal House, Tech, Progressive & Breaks. From a very young age he has been involved in computer software development and playing guitar.

Using his passion for music and this great interest in computer technology, he managed to bring these two together by electronic music production from the early age of 16.

In the present day he is using his existing computer and Dj skills to produce his own tracks with a unique style. He is open to almost any sub-genre of electronic music but with the main ones being : Minimal House, Tech, Progressive, Breaks, Chill-out & Electronica.

His first album release was in February 2009 with DiFFReQ Records and was named ‘rawSound’ after the strict use of simple sounds. Through skillfull sound manipulation he was able to create his selected samples and produce this electronica album.

Le jour se lève à peine sur Paris… et au dernier étage de son appartement du 9e arrondissement, Rone bascule de sa table de petit déjeuner dans une course effrénée tour à tour féerique et affolante aux pays des merveilles.

Difficile de trouver meilleure introduction que la vidéo de « Spanish Breakfast », pour illustrer la relation fusionnelle entretenue par la musique de Rone (Erwan Castex) avec l’imaginaire. Son réalisateur, Vladimir Mavounia-Kouka, jeune prodige français du film d’animation et Erwan se connaissent depuis de longues années. L’un a choisi les partitions, l’autre, les story-boards mais cette première collaboration ne pouvait enfanter que d’une œuvre fantastique à l’image du rêve éveillé mis en musique par ce premier album.

Entre-aperçu sur le label, Curle, avant de rejoindre InFiné et signé un premier Ep aérien, Rone (prononcez Rhone) s’est constitué une solide base d´aficionados, réconciliant 3D de Massive Attack, Ellen Allien avec la superstar Dj anglaise, Sasha.
Au quotidien, Erwan Castex habille spectacles, court-métrages et publicités, mais lorsqu’il plonge dans ses propres compositions, Rone devient le guide d’un univers enchanté. Qu’est ce qui peut bien faire courir Rone ?

Les distractions d’un petit déjeuner à l’espagnol, catapultant une electronica féerique vers des soleils orangés ?
Un monticule de fraise, allégorie « pop » et gustative pour l´un des quartiers les plus colorés et agité de Paris ?
Peut-être, le bercement progressif d`un bain de café dans les hauteurs nigériennes de l’« Aya Ama »… ou les ambiances vaporeuses d’une in « thé » rlude lunaire ?

Non, plutôt les facéties d’un lapin blanc atteint de cécité et de cleptomanie !
Contraint à une course effrénée, Erwan pilote son auditeur vers des compositions plus dynamiques et épurées.

Dans cet underground de production de masse, de performance, et de conformité, les versées sarcastiques d’Alain Damasio (auteur du best-seller de science fiction, « La Horde du Contrevent ») sur « Bora » s’impose dès lors comme un exutoire nécessaire à la survie de la création.

De cette cité fast-food, aseptisée et mécanique, on retiendra pourtant le caractère jubilatoire et minimaliste de « Tasty City » et cette rencontre cuivrée et hypnotiques avec « La dame blanche » dans un Pigalle tricolore et pornographique.

Une dernière bouffée aérienne en guise d´épilogue… la musique s´arrête… et voilà, notre auditeur de retour à la réalité.

At sunrise, stuck in the last floor of his apartment in Paris, with his elbow on the breakfast table, Rone sink into his dream and ventures into a Wonderland alternately fairy-tale and nightmarish.

Hard to find a better illustration than the video-clip of “Spanish Breakfast” to introduce the melting relationship sustained by RONE`s music with imaginary realms.

This first collaboration with French short-film boy wonder, Vladimir Mavounia-Kouka could only give birth to a Fantastic piece of work and a relevant visual metaphor for the daydreaming nature of this first album.

After a first cut with Lucy on Curle last year, Rone signed a proper 12” on Agoria´s imprint InFiné. Ranking among his best supporters Massive Attack 3D, English superstar Deejays of the likes of Sasha, Lee Burridge and Dial´s or Border Community’s champions, his gliding “Bora EP” was a first tour-de-force, which
reconciled electronic with indie amateurs. In everyday life, Erwan Castex is making soundscapes for exhibitions, adverts or short-films, but when he starts working on his own compositions, Rone becomes the guide of a enchanted world.

But what makes Rone run?
Some “Spanish Breakfast” entertainments?
A catapult throwing juicy electronica towards orange-suns? A mound of strawberries, as pop and tasty allegory for “Belleville”, one of the most colourful and animated district of Paris?
The progressive rocking of a coffee bath in the Nigerian highnesses of “Aya Ama” or the misty cosiness of the lunar in “tea” rlude?

Not quite so. Rather the pranks of a blind and kleptomaniac white rabbit! Compelled in a breathless race, Rone drives us toward more dynamic and refined productions.
In this underground of Mass-production, performance and conformity, the sarcasms of a French SF writer on “Bora” appears as a necessary release to the survival of creativity.

From this sanitized and mechanical fast-food city emerge nonetheless the exulted and minimalist “Tasty City” and the hypnotic copper of “La Dame Blanche” in a three-coloured and pornographic Pigalle-like district.

A last breathe of Fresh air as “Outro” – The music stops – and the listener is eventually back to reality.
