Mangelt est originaire des Iles Canaries, Espagne, et possède les labels Dekomatic Records ainsi que Plastic Garden Records. Sa passion pour la musique lui vient de sa jeunesse, influencé par ce qu’il entendait dans le bar Jazz (Minué) situé juste sous ses fenêtres. Il commença sa carrière de DJ en 1996, ce qui lui permit d’avoir ses premiers contact avec le public et d’apprendre énormément de ses amis. Il est maintenant un pionner du live machine aux canaris, mais aussi professeur de musique avancée, producteur, remixeur et bien évidemment également toujours Dj avec plus d’une trentaine de références dans sa carrière de musicien. Il a aussi pu collaborer avec plusieurs artistes internationaux au top des ventes. Son travail est élégant et avant-gardiste, caractèrisé par des rythmes swing et une atmosphère en permanence changeante dans son style très particulier. Mangelt is a Spanish artist, more specifically from the Canary Islands. He’s the owner of the labels Dekomatic Records and Plastic Garden Records. His passion for music began at a very early age, influenced by music that sounded in his parents’ local (Minué) Jazz Bar which was just below his house and he had his first contacts with musicians, but really began his career as a DJ in the year 96, where he have his first experiences with the public and he share desk with friends and people that he learn a lot. Live pioneer with machines in the Canaries. Teacher of advanced music. Producer, remixer and DJ with over thirty references in his career as a musician. Collaborations with important artists and a some top sales. His work is elegant and avant-garde, swing is what defines its rhythms, an ever-changing music within his recognizable style.
