EngNé à Rabenau dans la campagne dresdoise, Jacob Stoy a fait ses premiers pas sur Uncanny Valley en réalisant des flyers pour le label. Il a ensuite signé un premier track sur la compil UV010 puis son premier EP « Redenswart » en 2012. L’année dernière il pondait un autre morceau pour une nouvelle compilation, 15e release du label.
Son deuxième maxi sur l’écurie dresdoise vient tout juste d’arriver dans les bacs et il nous a enregistré un excellent mix à l’occasion de cette sortie plus que réussie. Malgré son jeune âge, ce set prouve largement de quoi Jacob est capable, son adolescence à écouter du jazz et se poncer les doigts sur sa guitare l’ont bien formé.

Jacob Stoy was born in Rabenau, in the countryside near Dresden. His first contact with Uncanny Valley was through his graphic design skills, making flyers for the label. He then signed his first track on the UV010 compilation, before the release of his first ep in 2012. Last year was when he dropped a new track for the 15th release of the label, a compilation including tracks from Eltron John, Alex Ketzer and the great Cuthead.
He just released his second maxi on the German imprint and for this occasion, he recorded an amazing dj set for us. He proves once again that despite his young age, he is capable of the best, probably a result of his teenage years spent listening jazz and shredding his guitar.
