An age old Irish love song performed here by the group « Clannad » as Gaeilge(in Irish language). A real beautiful piece of music and I often listen to this when relaxing or in a reflective mood. It’s a sad melancholic song but I always feel better after listening to it and for me, its a track that regenerates the soul and always gives a feeling of hope, even at the worst of times!

This group and music was all I listened to when I was younger. When I first heard this, it blew my mind. So much energy, funky as hell and had bad ass attitude that you wouldn’t believe. An absolute classic in my mind!

I think 4.2 from the kawl series is one of the productions I’ve made which I like most but that isn’t on YouTube. So here is a remix which I completed a while ago, for Fundamental Interaction, on French label CLFT.

The music on this video is a live version of « There was a time » written by James Brown. I chose this piece of music because apart from him being a legend and inspiration to a lot of people, I also hope our techno music, in whatever form it releases itself, has a modicum of the soul this man possessed! If we can get that little bit right, we’ll be ok!
