EngPourquoi faudrait-il toujours aller à la plage en été ? Rien de tel que de partir prendre un bon bol d’air frais à la montagne et y rencontrer Harvey Bann, alias Storlon. Né dans les Alpes suisses en 1974, initié à la Musique Concrète et à la New Wave par sa grande soeur, un séjour en Californie à 18 ans, puis un retour deux ans plus tard directement dans la scène émergente genevoise des mid 90’s, il décide peu avant 2000, de retrouver la paisibilité du paysage qui l’a vu grandir, la haut sur la montagne.
Toujours porté par son attraction pour les sons étranges et mélancholiques, il investit rapidement dans un premier synthé pour recréer ces bruits qui continuent de le tourmenter. Son intérêt est clairement dirigé vers les explorations électroniques, experimentales, glitchy, ambient, minimal. Sous le pseudonyme Infloria, l’accent est mis sur la Dub électronique.
Le fluide qui coule en lui le pousse toujours vers de nouvelles aventures. Il nous avait préparé un podcast il y a presque 5 ans. Nous lui avons donc proposé de remédier à cela. Il nous a promis l’enregistrement du nouveau projet live audio et visuel « Klubmed », teinté de Jazz-Electronique et de Techno mélancholique, monté en collaboration avec Andres Marcos et Jonathan Mangelincx. On attend ça avec impatience !

Why should we always go to the beach during summer ? Nothing is better than taking the fresh air of the mountains and meeting there Harvey Bann, alias Storlon. Born in 1974 in the Swiss Alps, influenced by his older sister in Musique Concrète and New Wave, a journey in California at 18, then a come back 2 years later directly into the merging scene of Geneva during the mid 90’s, he decides before 2000 to go back to the peace of the landscapes wich saw him grow, the mountains.
Always attracted by weird and melancholic sounds, he buys quickly his first synth to recreate the noises that are still trementing him. His interest is focused on electronic explorations, experiments, glitchy, ambiant, minimal. Under the pseudonyme Infloria, the accent is poned on Dub electronic.
The liquid flowing in him always takes him to new adventures. He already prepared for Imput Selector a podcast, almost 5 years ago… So we asked him to do a new one. He promised us the recording of his new audio and visual live project « Klubmed », a kind of Jazz-Electronic melted with melancholic Techno, built in collaboration with Andres Marcos and Jonathan Mangelincx. We’re looking forward !
