Flash Recordings était le résultat de collaborations entre Oliver Koletzki et Florian Maindl depuis 2006 et maintenant, depuis que le label d’Oliver, Stil Vor Talent ait décollé et l’ait rendu débordé de travail, Florian gère Flash tout seul. La première musique de ce nouveau départ, Florian nous l’apporte sous la forme d’un single avec deux armes parfaites pour les dance-floor : « Time To Move » est un dj tool disco tech-house fait à l’aide d’une solide et mécanique construction du rytme et des basses à la Meindl, qui finit par un break super long avant de d’être de nouveau relancé par le rythme. Sur l’autre face, « Here Today Gone Tomorrow » est une bombe de house music comprenant des samples de vocaux hypnotiques.

Flash Recordings was a result of collaborations between Oliver Koletzki and Florian Meindl back in 2006, now after Oliver’s Label Stil Vor Talent took off and flooded him with work, Florian manages Flash on his own. The first musical statement for this new paths Florian is going comes in the shape of a single with two perfectly crafted dance-floor weapons: « Time to Move » is a Disco Tech-House tool built with a solid and mechanic Meindl beat&bass construction, which ends up in a superlong break before it gets hit back by the beat. On the flip « Here Today Gone Tomorrow » is a serious House tune including hypnotic vocal samples.

Alter Ego est un groupe faisant de l’acid house formé par Roman Flügel et Jörn Elling Wuttke. Ils ont atteint la notoriété en 2004 avec leur morceau « Rocker », qui est devenu l’un des hymnes de la dance, en particulier en Europe, et est joué par un grand nombre de dj’s connus, parmi les plus populaires tels que le dj Felix Da Housecat et les 2 Many DJs.

En 2004 dans Groove Magazine Readers Poll, Alter Ego a remporté trois catégories, en remportant le prix du meilleur single pour « Rocker », du meilleur album pour « Transphormer », et aussi du meilleur Live Act. Le groupe français Black Strobe a remporté le prix du meilleur remix et fait les honneurs avec leur remix de « Rocker ».

En 2005, Roman Flügel a produit le morceau « Gehts Noch », qui a fut un énorme succès à travers le monde et a été régulièrement joué par de nombreux dj’s de renommée internationale.

Alter Ego is an acid house music group made of Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke. Varoslav, de paris, signe la nouvelle sortie du label Dirt Crew avec son « I Love Us ». Cet EP est le fruit de la collaboration de Varoslav et du trio Parisien dOP (Circus Company) que chacun de vous devrait bien connaître pour leur lives barrés et profonds dans différents clubs européens. Varoslav de son côté est un nouveau talent montant parmis la nouvelle scène house parisienne. En tant que dj Varoslav éxerce dans un style groovy, sexy et énergetique allant de la Tech à la deep house que l’on retrouve également dans ses morceaux. Quand il ne travaille pas sur ses propres morceaux il passe son temps chez Supplement Facts bossant aux côtés de Guy Gerber, un autre gros label où Varoslav a signé ses premier morceaux.

Cet EP fera bouger les amateurs de house, tech-house mais aussi de break avec 2 remixes très bon et variés par David K (Freak N Chic, Cocoon). Son terrible « Breakz mix » est sans aucun doute une bombe et un de ses plus remarquables morceaux. De plus Avec le « House mix », qui sortira exclusivement sur vinyl, David rentre profondément dans le groove de la house et vous transmet son typique et épique flow deepy.

Varoslav from Paris is up next on Dirt Crew with his « I Love Us », an exciting new DJ/Production talent the label is very happy to be friends with. This EP sees Varoslav team up with Paris-based trio and long time friends dOP (Circus Company) who all of you may well know from their current live crazyness and deep jams in the clubs out there … Varoslav is a new talent rising amongst the Parisian new House scene! playing in his groovy, sexy and energetic style sliding from tech to deep house is apparent in his releases also. When he isn’t working on his own music he is found at Supplement Facts working along side Guy Gerber, another great label where Varoslav released his first records.

This EP has a little bit of everything for the House, Tech House and even Breakz lovers. With two very nice remixes full of variety from Varoslav’s friend David K (Freak N Chic, Cocoon). His smashing breakz remix is a sure destroyer, with it’s phat beats and pumping bass line it is one of his most outstanding tracks ever. With the vinyl featured House mix David goes deep into the house groove and gives you his typical epic deep house flow.

Voici pour vous une sortie en provenance du producteur mexicain Monopolar, joliment intitulée « Jalapacalima ». Le disque est doté de deux morceaux sur la face A, et inclue également deux incontournables remixs par Milly De Mori et Landed. Restant ancré dans l’esthétique estampillée Sound Selective tout en offrant une variété de sons rafraichissante, cet EP est sur de charmer un grand nombre de Dj et auditeurs préférant des sons de qualité en électro house teintée d’un peu de techno underground. La variété stylistique de l’ensemble permet de donner certains repères sur les styles propres de ces producteurs, comme la deep techno de Jalapacalima ou le très entrainant Happy New Jackie. Tom vient des collines du nord du Pays de Galles où sa famille l’a très tôt initié à la musique. Très influencé par son frère Joe et son très proche ami Leif, ce Dj et performeur live dont le talent n’est plus à démontrer passe la majorité de son temps à créer son propre style musical : une minimale méticuleuse, riche, deep et funky, résolument tournée vers le dancefloor et produite à une cadence infernale sur des labels tels que Hartchef, Minibar, Logistic, Trimsound ou Mindtours. Son dernier LP sorti le mois dernier sur le -ressuscité- label français Telegraph et intitulé “Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls”, est une petite merveille sonore aux atmosphères et aux rythmiques soignées, une rareté de nos jours qui nous fait oublier la médiocrité abondante des titres du genre. Pour se mettre en bouche, Input Selector vous a déniché un petit live enregistré le mois dernier par ce nouveau maître du minimal-groove. A consommer sans modération.

Tom comes from the North Wales hills, where his family initiated him to musicfairly early. He started influenced by his brother Joe and his very close friend Leif. This Dj and live peformer, whose incredible talent is already an accepted factfor everyone, is spending his time to create his own musical style: a rich, deep, funky and meticulous Minimal, definitely dancefloor-oriented and released at a crazy paceon such labels as Hartchef, Minibar, Logistic, Trimsound, Mindtours etc. His last LP out last month on ressucitated french label Telegraph is entitled « Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls »,and is kind of a sonorous miracle with extremely well crafted rhythm parts which is rare enough nowadays to be noticed, making us forget about the constant mediocrity of many tracks in this particular style. In order to provide you a bit of taste of this quality stuff, Input Selector dug out this live set recorded last month by this Minimal-groove master, to enjoy with no moderation.

BadenProjekt est un concept né en 2006 entre Otter (Berlin) et Dvn (Paris) à partir d’une passion commune pour la musique électronique. Ils commencent par animer une émission de radio à l’université, puis se produisent rapidement dans plusieurs évènements. Inspirés par un large univers musical (de la minimal techno à l’expérimental en passant par la coldwave), flirtant entre hardware et software, Otter et Dvn concoctent des dj sets qui mélangent les genres tout en essayant de rester dans un univers ambiant et minimaliste. De nouvelles productions sont en cours… stay connected !

BadenProjekt is a French musical collaboration between Otter (living in Berlin) and Dvn (now in Paris) which took shape at the university in 2006.
 These two young fellas started to share a common interest in electronic music around many whiskies and cigarettes, spinning some records for the student radio and local gigs. Both belong to the cross-over generation, digging a wide range of artists and styles (far away from the Techno landscape !), and flirting with hardware and software. 
Their Dj sets don’t retreat into one genre, but are layered with ambient, minimal, noise and techno.

Sorti hier, cet EP est le onzième du label de Basti Grub, Höhenregler. Spedro avait déjà sorti un morceau avec M.in sur ce label mais cette fois, il revient avec son propre morceau accompagné de deux remixs bien happy des talentueux Basti Grub et M.in.

La touche musicale de M.in et celle Basti Grub ainsi que leur utilisation de samples rajoutent à ces deux remixs une touche festive et chaleureuse à l’original.

Released yesterday, this EP is the eleventh from Basti Grub’s label Höhenregler. Spedro had already released a track with M.in on this label but this time he’s back with his own track and two happy remixes on the side made by the talented producer M.in and Basti Grub.

Their musical touch in addition to their way of using samples add the original a happy atmosphere on these two remixes .
