M.in, YNK & Bastian Shuster – New Orleans EP [OFF004]

On vous avait fait découvrir l’allemand M.in par l’intermédiaire de notre podcast et de son superbe mix housy et il revient aujourd’hui avec son premier EP, New Orleans. Sorti le 19 Février sur Off Recordings, cet EP a déjà été playlisté par Josh Wink sur le podcast Resident Advisor.

Pour la réalisation de cet EP, il a fait équipe avec deux de ses bons amis, YNK et Bastian Schuster. Pour un entamer ce premier EP, M.in nous envoie la sauce avec ce qu’on appelle plus communément une bombe ! New Orleans s’empare de vous grace à son groove solide, son mélange de tambours et un saxo qui vous ramenera dans un Club Jazz de la Nouvelle Orléans en plein dans les années 50. Dj W!ld [Robsoul, Adult Only, RAL9005, Motivbank…] la star montante de la scène house underground parisienne s’est allié à cette petite bande en vous offrant un remix inspiré du film Windy City, duquel il a tiré ces voix old school.

Some time ago you were discovering the German M.in through our podcast and his wonderful housy mix and and he returns today with his first EP, New Orleans. Released on February, 19th on Off Recordings, the EP has already been playlisted by Josh Wink on Resident Advisor podcast.

To achieve this EP, he has teamed with two of his good friends, YNK and Bastian Schuster. To start this first EP, M.in set the tone with what is most commonly called a bomb ! New Orleans takes you through this strong groove, this mix of drums and sax that bring you in a Jazz Club in New Orleans in  the 50’s. Dj W!ld [Robsoul, Adult Only, RAL9005, Motivbank…] the rising star of the Parisian underground house scene has partnered with this small band offering a remix inspired of the film Windy City, where he took these old school vocals.
