Alter Ego est un groupe faisant de l’acid house formé par Roman Flügel et Jörn Elling Wuttke. Ils ont atteint la notoriété en 2004 avec leur morceau « Rocker », qui est devenu l’un des hymnes de la dance, en particulier en Europe, et est joué par un grand nombre de dj’s connus, parmi les plus populaires tels que le dj Felix Da Housecat et les 2 Many DJs.

En 2004 dans Groove Magazine Readers Poll, Alter Ego a remporté trois catégories, en remportant le prix du meilleur single pour « Rocker », du meilleur album pour « Transphormer », et aussi du meilleur Live Act. Le groupe français Black Strobe a remporté le prix du meilleur remix et fait les honneurs avec leur remix de « Rocker ».

En 2005, Roman Flügel a produit le morceau « Gehts Noch », qui a fut un énorme succès à travers le monde et a été régulièrement joué par de nombreux dj’s de renommée internationale.

Alter Ego is an acid house music group made of Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke. They achieved notability in 2004 with their track « Rocker », which became one of the year’s defining Dance anthems, especially in Europe, and getting played on heavy rotation amongst the most popular Electroclash DJs such as Felix Da Housecat and 2 Many DJs.

In the 2004 Groove Magazine Readers Poll, Alter Ego won three categories, taking out the award for Best Single for « Rocker », Best Album for « Transphormer », and also Best Live Act. French group Black Strobe took out Best Remix honours with their remix of Alter Ego’s track, « Rocker ».

In 2005 Roman Flügel went onto produce the track « Gehts Noch », which was a huge hit across the world and was regularly played by many famous international dj’s.
